Edit Translations
There's a pretty good interface in back office, allowing to add or change translations for a particular installation. This is useful to:
- Add a translation at all.
- Change some unfortunate translation.
- Change entire text labels and paragraphs built into thirty bees. In this regard it makes even sense to “translate” English, the default language.
Entering Translations
Go to back office -> (1) Localization -> (2) Translations. Then select in these three menus along the dotted red line:
Type of translation:
In unclear cases, simply search in each of these sections.
- Front office translations: Texts found in the core installation in front office (what customers see). Not texts added by modules.
- Back office translations: Texts found in back office.
- Error message translations: Texts in error messages (which your customers hopefully never see).
- Field name translations: TODO: find out which fields are meant here and why they need translations at all.
- Installed modules translations: Texts added by modules to front office. One should find here what's visible, but not in Front office translations. Also texts on module configuration pages.
- PDF translations: Texts in PDFs created.
- Email templates translations: Texts in email templates, to be sent to customers.
Select your theme and Select your language should be obvious.
With all three selected, click on (3) Modify to enter the actual translations dialog.

Input Variables Exeeded
When trying to enter translations following the steps above, one might well see this (as of thirty bees 1.0.6):
Workaround, in case you can't or don't want to change your PHP installation, is to edit translations by editing files (below on this page).
